Established in December 2008 and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in March 2010, VIDI aims to enhance capacity building for sustainable development.

Our founder, Sardauna M. Monde, is a seasoned professional financial administrator with over 20 years of experience in financial management. He holds a Bachelor of Divinity from Gindiri Theological Seminary and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management along with a Masters in Business Administration from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University. As a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Sardauna has distinguished himself as an auditor and financial consultant. His extensive experience includes leadership roles at Yankari Insurance Company Ltd and the Development Exchange Centre in Bauchi State.

VIDI’s mission is to empower women to improve their living conditions and status in society. Our objectives include health education, gender development, women empowerment, and microfinance business development. We operate by delivering microfinance services such as microcredit, savings mobilization, and equipment loans. Additionally, we provide training and community development initiatives, including adult literacy training and the promotion of water, sanitation, and hygiene.

With our head office located in Bauchi and a branch in Yelwa, VIDI plans to expand nationwide, opening new branches annually. Our success stories, like that of Mrs. Laraba Hazo, a widow who transformed her life with a N10,000 loan, highlight the impact of our work. Through VIDI, women gain the tools and resources they need to build better futures for themselves and their communities.
